312 H-1B petitions filed by employers in NE Sacramento News publication area during 2024

Employers based in the NE Sacramento News publication area submitted 312 H-1B petitions during 2024, according to data provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-1B Employer Data Hub. Of these, 248 were approved (79.5%), while 64 were denied (20.5%).

Employers are classified under industries based on their reported operations and may be involved in multiple industries.

The H-1B visa program allows U.S. employers to temporarily hire foreign workers in specialty occupations requiring specialized knowledge and at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Meanwhile, the Health Care and Social Assistance industry was the second largest contributor, filing 18 petitions (5.8% of the total), with an approval rate of 94.4%.

The NE Sacramento News publication area employers with the most petitions during 2024 included Agreeya Solutions, Inc., which filed 22 petitions with an approval rate of 100%, Astute Solutions, LLC with 20 petitions and an approval rate of 95%, and Celer Systems, Inc., which filed 19 petitions with an approval rate of 100%.

Compared to 2023, the NE Sacramento News publication area saw a 1.3% decrease in the number of H-1B petitions during 2024.
