Auburn seeks applicants for Planning Commission position through April 30

The City of Auburn announced on April 7 that it is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Auburn Planning Commission. The commission plays a role in reviewing development proposals, design plans, and environmental documents, as well as advising the City Council on planning decisions.

The opportunity is open to Auburn residents who are willing to serve a term running through November 2028. Meetings are scheduled for the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m., as needed. Members receive a $25 stipend per meeting.

Applications can be submitted until April 30, 2026. Forms are available online at the City’s website, at City Hall, or by email. Completed applications should be sent to the City Clerk’s Office at 1225 Lincoln Way, Room 6 in Auburn.
