Former Whitney High School standout Nia Trinidad played on Thursday, May 8 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Thursday, May 8, former Whitney High School standout Nia Trinidad’s current collegiate team the San Francisco State Gators won 5-3 against the Saint Martin’s Saints in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at SFSU Softball Field at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Saint Martin’s Saints in the tournament.

The San Francisco State Gators’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 11 a.m. at SFSU Softball Field.
