On Sunday, April 13, former Granite Bay High School standout Joe Plise’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, won 11-10 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
The game took place at Mountain Lion Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Mavericks this season.
The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m. at Jim Darden Field against Colorado Mines Orediggers.
