Kevin Kiley, a U.S. Congress member representing California’s 3rd District since 2023, took to social media to comment on several issues of national and state interest. Through his recent tweets, Kiley highlighted his perspectives on educational reforms, economic challenges within California, and the ongoing controversy surrounding the state’s High-Speed Rail project.

On April 4, 2025, Kevin Kiley expressed criticism towards political figures concerning educational policies. “The likes of Biden and Newsom waged an all-out assault on parental rights in education. It’s no coincidence learning outcomes have plummeted.” He emphasized the restoration of core educational principles, stating, “But now we’re restoring the pillars of academic excellence: choice for families, local control for schools, accountability for results.”

In a subsequent post on April 5, 2025, Kiley remarked on a political rally by Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. He invited them to observe California’s social and economic landscape. “I’d invite them to tour the state and see what it looks like when their utopian vision becomes a reality.” He further criticized the state’s leadership in undesirable statistics, highlighting, “California leads the nation in poverty, inequality, achievement gaps, unemployment, and wage stagnation.”

Later on April 5, 2025, Kiley announced a request for a federal investigation into the expenditure and progress of California’s High-Speed Rail initiative. He raised concerns about financial accountability and the current status of the project. “I’ve asked the FBI to investigate malfeasance and corruption connected to CA High-Speed Rail.” Kiley questioned the fiscal management and posed inquiries about the escalating cost and the entities benefiting from it, stating, “Taxpayers deserve answers.”
