Kevin Kiley, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 3rd district since 2023, has been vocal on social media regarding political scenarios and infrastructure projects in California. His recent tweets have sparked discussions on the future of political figures and state policies.

On March 3, 2025, Kevin Kiley shared his perspective on potential future political developments involving prominent figures in California politics. He expressed skepticism about the possibility of “Newsom will be President and Kamala will be Governor,” suggesting instead that both would be out of office due to their “disastrous policies.” “There are people who actually believe in a few years Newsom will be President and Kamala will be Governor. A much more plausible scenario is both will be out of office for good and our state will have fully turned the page on their disastrous policies.”

Later that day, Kiley commented on his attendance at Joe Biden’s State of the Union addresses. Despite describing them as filled with “nonsense,” he emphasized the importance of respecting presidential traditions and seeking common ground where possible. “What a disgrace. I attended Joe Biden’s State of the Union addresses even though they were filled with nonsense. I felt it was important to respect the office of the presidency and the traditions of our country and to find common ground where possible.”

On March 4, 2025, Kiley criticized California’s high-speed rail project as “the biggest boondoggle in U.S. history.” He argued that its primary value lies in highlighting political dysfunction and corruption within the state. “California ‘High-Speed’ Rail is the biggest boondoggle in U.S. history. The project’s only value is making our state’s political dysfunction and corruption too obvious for anyone to deny.”
