On June 10, 2025, Kiley announced that “On Thursday, President Trump will sign my Resolution to reverse California’s absurd ban on gas-powered cars.” Link This move aims to counteract California’s environmental regulations concerning vehicle emissions.

Later the same day, he commented on a court decision regarding the National Guard: “The court just denied Newsom’s request for an emergency order removing the National Guard.” He further critiqued Governor Gavin Newsom by stating that it’s notable that Newsom considers the presence of the National Guard as an emergency rather than addressing violent riots.
