Rep. Kevin Kiley, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 3rd district since 2023, has been vocal on social media about his legislative efforts and political stance. A Harvard and Yale graduate, Kiley previously served in the California State Assembly from 2016 to 2022.
On June 7, 2025, Rep. Kiley tweeted about his progress in reversing some of Governor Newsom’s policies: “In the last year I set out to reverse 10 of Governor Newsom’s most harmful policies. We’ve made significant progress: 1) Gas-Car Ban: My Resolution to reverse the ban passed the House and Senate with bipartisan support. 2) Illegal Health Care: We forced Newsom to end his free”.
The following day, June 8, Kiley addressed immigration policy concerns in another tweet: “If Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom would rather ICE not conduct targeted immigration operations, there’s a simple solution: stop being a Sanctuary City and Sanctuary State. Cooperate with federal authorities rather than obstructing them.”
On June 9, he commented on what he perceives as detrimental political actions within California: “Radical politicians in California have done everything possible to usher in the ongoing chaos in LA. The entire country is now seeing what their reckless policies have done to our state.”
Kevin Kiley was born in Sacramento in 1985 and currently resides in Rocklin.
