Kevin Kiley, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 3rd district since 2023, has been vocal on social media regarding various political issues. On July 8, 2025, he announced that former President Trump endorsed his bill titled the No Tax Dollars for Riots Act. Kiley stated that Trump believes the bill “should be passed immediately.” He criticized CHIRLA, an organization involved in the LA riots, for receiving $34 million and tax-exempt status.
Later on July 8, Kiley expressed criticism towards California Governor Gavin Newsom by labeling him as a “Civil Rights Violator.” According to Kiley, Newsom prioritizes maintaining favor with far-left activists over protecting young female athletes in California. Additionally, he mentioned that Newsom is currently in South Carolina to soft launch another delusional presidential run.
On July 9, Kiley highlighted legal actions taken against California by the Department of Justice (DOJ). He pointed out that the state is being sued for allegedly violating the rights of female student-athletes. Kiley emphasized that politicians like Gavin Newsom will not evade accountability for defying federal law. He remarked that “Anti-Civil Rights politicians like Gavin Newsom will not get away with defying federal law.”
Kevin Kiley was born in Sacramento in 1985 and currently resides in Rocklin. He graduated from Harvard University with a BA and later earned his JD from Yale University. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the California State Assembly from 2016 to 2022.
