Kevin Kiley, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 3rd district and former member of the California State Assembly, has recently shared a series of posts on his Twitter account addressing the state’s political climate and upcoming elections.
On May 30, 2026, Kiley stated, “Californians are clearly underwhelmed by leading candidates for Governor promising to maintain the status quo when we lead the nation in cost-of-living, unemployment, and homelessness. Voters consistently say California is on the wrong track and want a return to common sense.”
Continuing his commentary on May 31, 2026, he posted: “A coalition for common sense is on the rise in California. This is why the status quo candidates for Governor have struggled to gain traction. It’s why the Mayor of LA’s reelection is in jeopardy. It’s why Prop. 36 passed in a landslide.”
On June 1, 2026, Kiley encouraged voter participation with another message: “We just dropped off our ballots. Make sure to get yours in by 8 PM tomorrow. California is worth fighting for!”
Kiley has served as a member of Congress since replacing John Garamendi in 2023 and previously represented constituents in the California State Assembly from 2016 through 2022. Born in Sacramento in 1985 and currently residing in Rocklin at age 38, Kiley holds degrees from Harvard University (BA) and Yale University (JD).
