Kevin Kiley, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 3rd district, voiced his opposition to gerrymandering and commented on state politics in a series of posts on October 14, 2025.

In a post made at 01:54 UTC, Kiley wrote, “NO on 50”.

Later that day, Kiley addressed the issue of gerrymandering across different states. On October 14, 2025, he stated, “So it’s wrong for Texas to gerrymander before California and wrong for North Carolina to gerrymander after, but it’s right for CA to gerrymander in between? My position is simple: gerrymandering is always wrong, and CA voters should reject it the one place we can: our own state.”

In another post at 19:25 UTC the same day, Kiley referenced a political opponent and past legislative efforts regarding vaccine mandates. He wrote, “The author of SB 276 and SB 277 has announced he’s running against me. He also introduced a K-12 COVID vaccine mandate that we defeated; it was too extreme even for the California Supermajority.”

Kiley has served in the U.S. Congress since 2023 after previously serving in the California State Assembly from 2016 to 2022. He was born in Sacramento in 1985 and currently resides in Rocklin. Kiley holds a BA from Harvard University and a JD from Yale University.
