Rep. Kevin Kiley, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 3rd district, has recently posted updates on his social media account regarding the transparency of FireAid funding and shared tributes in response to national tragedies.

On September 9, 2025, Kiley announced the release of detailed records from FireAid, stating: “I’ve just posted the FireAid Files. You can see where FireAid says all the money went – including the organizations that received grants, the amounts received, and the number of victims reached:

Additional underlying documents will be posted soon.” The files reportedly provide insight into grant recipients and fund distribution by FireAid.

Two days later, on September 11, 2025, Kiley commemorated the anniversary of the September 11 attacks with a message: “Today, we remember the lives lost on 9/11, the heroes who responded, and the families forever changed.

Let’s all take a moment today to honor their memory.

We will never forget. #NeverForget https://t.co/GLGtwV4JYX

Later that same day, he addressed another tragedy in a separate post: “At this moment, the nation is still in shock over the barbaric murder of a man beloved by millions. The depth of this tragedy is hard to process: a life cut short at age 31, a wife left without a husband, two young children without a father.
