On Friday, May 16, former Whitney High School standout Mya Flindt’s current collegiate team the South Carolina Gamecocks won 5-2 against the Elon Phoenix in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Carolina Softball Stadium at 5:55 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Elon Phoenix in the tournament.

The South Carolina Gamecocks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 1 p.m. at Carolina Softball Stadium.
