On Saturday, May 3, former Whitney High School standout Nia Trinidad’s college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Saturday, May 3, former Whitney High School standout Nia Trinidad’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Cal State San Marcos Cougars.

The game took place at Seawolf Softball Field. This was their sixth matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 8 at 12 p.m. at SFSU Softball Field against Saint Martin’s Saints.
