On Saturday, March 29, former Roseville High School standouts Makayla Newsom and Malaya Johnson’s current college team, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Cal Poly Mustangs.

The game took place at Campus Diamond. This was their second matchup against the Mustangs this season.

The Gauchos’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at Campus Diamond against Cal Poly Mustangs.
