On Saturday, March 29, former Whitney High School standout Madilyn Novello’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Humboldt State Lumberjacks.

The game took place at Bear River Recreation Center. This was their third matchup against the Lumberjacks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1:05 p.m. at Bear River Recreation Center against Humboldt State Lumberjacks.
