Senator Roger Niello, who represents California’s 6th Senate District, posted several updates on his Twitter account on May 13 and 14, 2026. His tweets focused on legislative efforts regarding vehicular manslaughter accountability and recognition of local state parks.

On May 13, Niello wrote about working with Allison Lyman, whose son Connor Lopez died in a motorcycle accident last year: “Honored to work with Connor Lopez’s mom, Allison Lyman, who lost her son last year when he was hit by a driver while on his motorcycle.
