Kevin Kiley, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 3rd district, shared his recent experiences and views through a series of tweets on January 25, 2025. The tweets provide insights into his political stance and activities alongside former President Donald Trump.

On January 25, Kiley tweeted about joining former President Trump in Los Angeles. He expressed the need for a "revolution in common sense" in California, particularly criticizing the California Coastal Commission and existing fire and water policies. "Today I joined President Trump in LA and told him there's no place that needs a 'revolution in common sense' like California. We spoke about killing the CA Coastal Commission and other insane fire and water policies."

Later that day, Kiley criticized California's water management practices, despite acknowledging an abundance of natural water resources. He stated his commitment to working with Trump to improve these policies. "We have more than enough water that comes to us by the grace of God. The problem is California has managed it in the stupidest way possible. I am working with President Trump to bring back sanity."

In another tweet on the same day, Kiley praised Trump's demeanor towards Governor Gavin Newsom during their meeting on the tarmac. Despite Newsom's history of criticism towards Trump, Kiley noted Trump's focus on aiding Los Angeles' recovery efforts."President Trump showed incredible grace towards Newsom on the tarmac. Here is someone who has taunted him for a decade, one moronic stunt after another, while doing his best to destroy our state. Yet the President set all that aside for the sake of helping LA recover."
