On Sunday, March 2, former Oakmont High School standout Tony Lira’s current college team, the Arizona Wildcats, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Tennessee Volunteers.
The game took place at Daikin Park. This was their first matchup against the Volunteers this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at Hi Corbett Field against Pepperdine Waves.
