On Tuesday, April 15, former Whitney High School standout Nia Trinidad’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Humboldt State Lumberjacks.

The game took place at Bear River Recreation Center. This was their third matchup against the Lumberjacks this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 1 p.m. at Warrior Softball Field against Stanislaus State Warriors.
