On Tuesday, March 18, former Oakmont High School standout Tony Lira’s current college team, the Arizona Wildcats, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kansas Jayhawks.
The game took place at Hi Corbett Field. This was their first matchup against the Jayhawks this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Monongalia County Baseball Complex against West Virginia Mountaineers.
