On Wednesday, April 30, former Whitney High School standout Madilyn Novello’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros.

The game took place at Seawolf Softball Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Toros this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 1:50 p.m. at Seawolf Softball Field against San Francisco State Gators.
