Woodcreek High School standout Maliyah Lawson’s collegiate team loses game in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship on Friday, May 9

On Friday, May 9, former Woodcreek High School standout Maliyah Lawson’s current collegiate team the Nova Southeastern Sharks lost 5-7 against the Tampa Spartans in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Tampa Spartans in the tournament.

The Nova Southeastern Sharks’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 6 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field.
