Kevin Kiley, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 3rd district, has shared his views on recent political and economic developments through a series of tweets. Kiley, who succeeded John Garamendi in 2023 and previously served in the California State Assembly, expressed concerns over the direction of California's Democratic Party and its influence on national politics.

On March 16, 2025, Kiley tweeted about the nomination of Kamala Harris for President by stating "This is not surprising. I've seen the radicalism of California's Democrat Party spread nationwide, culminating in the nomination of Kamala Harris for President. Yet again, California is not a 'model for the nation' but a warning to the nation."

Later that day, he addressed economic issues related to energy policies in California. On March 16, 2025, he posted "Gas prices have hit a 4-year low nationwide, with one notable exception: California. Thanks to Newsom's insane energy policies, Californians pay far more than any state, even Hawaii, and $1.60 above the national average. Meanwhile, we rate 47th in the nation in road quality."

On March 17, 2025, Kiley commented on voter registration trends in California: "There it is. Republicans have now gained 1 million registered voters in California since Newsom became Governor. The latest update shows Republicans gained 125,000 voters on Democrats the last few months, marking the sixth straight time the CA GOP has increased its share."
