Kevin Kiley comments on fentanyl charges and California projects

Kevin Kiley, a U.S. Congress member representing California’s 3rd district, has recently expressed his views on several significant issues through social media posts. Known for his active participation in state and national politics, Kiley has shared insights on topics ranging from criminal justice to infrastructure projects and state governance.

On December 5, 2024, Kevin Kiley highlighted the legal developments in Placer County regarding fentanyl-related crimes. He stated, "This is significant. Placer County has led the way in charging fentanyl dealers with murder. Thanks to Prop. 36, these prosecutions will now become more viable across the state."

On December 6, 2024, Kiley turned his attention to California's high-speed rail project. He remarked, "I am glad @DOGE has turned its attention to what may be the single most wasteful project in U.S. history: California’s 'High-Speed' Rail. 16 years after it began, there have been more CEOs of the Rail Authority than passengers. The tally is 5 to 0."

In another post dated December 8, 2024, Kiley commented on Governor Gavin Newsom's recent statements about protecting California values. He noted, "Newsom is vowing to 'Trump-proof' our state in order to 'protect California values.' Here are some of the values he apparently wants to protect: -homelessness (1 out of 50) -poverty (1 out of 50) -Retail crime (1 out of 50) -Anti-business regulations (1 out of 50) -frivolous…"
