On January 22, 2025, Kiley addressed the issue of local officials cooperating with ICE. He stated: "The author of California's Sanctuary State law is calling for the prosecution of local officials who cooperate with ICE to deport criminals. I've introduced legislation to assure such officials are immune from prosecution."
Later that day, he criticized California's expenditure on healthcare for undocumented individuals. He remarked: "California is spending $6.5 billion each year providing free health care to everyone here illegally. Meanwhile, many of our own citizens can't even get in to see a doctor. Our roads are falling apart. Our cities are burning. This insane policy needs to end."
On January 23, 2025, Kiley shared his thoughts on crime legislation in California: "Crime is illegal again in California. The revolution of common sense is underway."
