Kevin Kiley, a U.S. Congressman representing California's 3rd district, shared his recent legislative and political concerns through a series of tweets on April 3, 2025. Representing California since 2023, Kiley has also served in the California State Assembly and holds degrees from Harvard and Yale.

In his first tweet posted at 15:18:44 UTC, Kevin Kiley announced that he has "introduced Congressional Review Act Resolutions to overturn Gavin Newsom's EV mandates for cars and trucks." Kiley indicated his objective is to prevent Newsom's "attempt to ban gas-powered cars in California." He stressed that this represents a significant effort to "Newsom-Proof California." More details can be viewed here.

Later, at 17:35:01 UTC, Kiley addressed judicial actions in California involving the Trump Administration. He stated that "a federal judge in California has ordered the Trump Administration to keep funding her own former NGO that represents illegal immigrants," expressing concerns about what he termed as "an obvious conflict of interest." He called for "Congressional oversight is needed to protect checks and balances against judicial overreach." Details are available here.

In another tweet shared at 21:30:49 UTC, Kiley criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom's management of the Medicaid program. Kiley claimed Newsom is "destroying Medicaid in California" by providing benefits to illegal immigrants and criticized Newsom for allegedly missing a "deadline for federal matching funds."
